Nils Frahm has been immersed in the world of the piano since childhood, from learning the instrument at an early age he became acquainted with the master composers of past generations as well as contemporary composers. He has since forged his own path as a composer, with an unconventional approach, writing contemplatively and intimately, as well as on a mesmerising scale with strings, vocals, electronics and unusual instruments such as the glass harmonica.  His highly developed sense of control and restraint, as well as a breathtaking level of emotion and personality has gained him global recognition and adoration.
