Aisling Brouwer is a Dutch/Irish composer, producer and artist based in London. Aisling is best known for her dark and emotive scores, often using textured recorded sound design alongside gritty Berlin-inspired electronics and haunting cinematic melodies.

In 2019 Aisling scored Rubika Shah’s Berlinale Special Mention & Grierson Award winning anti-fascist punk hit White Riot. She is currently writing the soundtrack for Rubika Shah’s highly anticipated second feature The Mad Dog of Europe, co-produced by Le Bureau Films (FR) and Heimatfilm (DE).

Other credits include two series of the Apple TV+ hit-show The Buccaneers (co-scored with AVAWAVES writing partner, Anna Phoebe), an upcoming Netflix true-crime thriller, the multi-award-winning Savage Waters (narrated by Charles Dance), Super Greed (Sky Original), Lioness (Amazon Original) and The Child in the Box (Sky Original). Her projects have screened at film festivals around the world including Sundance, Tribeca, Cannes, Berlinale, and Venice.

Aisling releases music commercially under the artist duo AVAWAVES with Anna Phoebe. The pair are signed to One Little Independent Records and recently released their third studio album Heartbeat in May 2025.
